Make Consultant
Your workflows, automated with Make.
Your tools don't talk to each other, and it's costing you hours every week. I'm the Make (formerly Integromat) consultant who connects them and automates the work in between.
Get startedWhat I do
Make, done properly
Make.com is powerful, but a scenario that's been quickly thrown together is rarely the one that holds up for the long term. The difference is in the details — error handling, the right data structures, and a design that won't fall over the first time something unexpected comes through.
That's where I come in. Whether you're starting from scratch or untangling something that's grown messy, I build Make automations that are reliable, understandable, and genuinely fit your business.
Make projects include
- Connecting your apps and tools into automated workflows
- Lead capture and CRM syncing
- Client onboarding and follow-up automation
- Moving data reliably between systems
- AI-powered workflows inside Make
- Error handling, monitoring and clean-up of existing scenarios
The role
What a Make consultant does
The same four stages on every project, whether it's one scenario or thirty.
Decide what's worth automating
Not every manual task needs a scenario. I map how the work actually flows, automate the steps where it pays off, and leave the rest alone.
Design it before building it
Where the logic lives, which route handles which case, what happens when a module errors. Getting that right first is most of the job.
Build for real data, not test data
Missing fields, duplicates, a payload shaped differently to the one you tested against. Real inputs are messier, and operations cost money.
Hand it over properly
Named clearly, documented, and explained. You shouldn't need me on call to change a module six months from now.
Who this is for
Not everyone needs a Make consultant
This is probably for you if
- You're a founder or small marketing team losing hours to repetitive work.
- You already pay for tools that don't talk to each other.
- You've outgrown simple automations and need real logic — branching, loops, error handling.
- You want to understand what was built, so you can change it later without me.
Probably not if
- You need the cheapest option. I'm not it, and I won't pretend otherwise.
- You want an agency with account managers and a delivery team behind them.
- Your processes change every few weeks — nothing is stable enough to automate yet.
- You'd rather hand it over and never look at how it works.
How we work together
Three ways to work on Make
Pick the one that matches the size of the job. All three are fixed price, agreed before anything gets built.
Fix or build one scenario
A focused half day, around four hours, on one scenario. You bring the problem; I diagnose, fix or build it in the session.
A bigger Make build, in one day
A full day, around eight hours, for something more involved — a bigger build, or several scenarios in one go.
Your Make scenarios, built in a week
Four days to map, design and build one area of your business properly. Fixed price for the week, scope agreed before anything starts.
Why work with me
Six reasons clients choose me for Make
Make expertise
I know the platform deeply — modules, routers, data stores, error handling, and the patterns that keep scenarios reliable.
Developer background
A web developer past means I'm comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and the technical edges where no-code tools meet real systems.
Built around your business
I design automations that fit how you actually work, not a generic template bolted onto your processes.
Clear communication
I explain every decision plainly, so you understand what we've built and can maintain it yourself.
One-on-one
You work directly with me from start to finish — no account managers, no handoffs to a junior team member.
Practical builds
I'm honest about what automation can and can't do, and I won't over-engineer something that should stay simple.
Who I am
A developer who builds automations
I spent over six years helping small marketing teams and founders to streamline their operations through automation, CRM optimisation and connected marketing systems. Before that, I worked as a web developer and technical lead for major brands including NBC Universal, Bauer Publishing, and Haymarket Media Group.
That mix of developer background and hands-on marketing experience means I can tackle both the strategic and technical sides of Make — and explain every decision clearly so you understand what we've built together.
I work one-on-one with every client. There are no intermediaries, no account managers, no handoffs to a junior team member. When you work with me, you get me.

Common questions
FAQ
Which service is right for me?
It depends on the size of the job. One scenario to fix or build is usually a half day (£450) or a full day (£800). A whole area of your business, where several scenarios have to work together, is a one week sprint (£3,000). All three are fixed price for the duration, with scope agreed before anything starts. Not sure? Get in touch and I'll point you to the right one.
Can you fix or improve an existing Make setup?
Yes. Inheriting a messy or broken set of scenarios is common. If it used to work and has stopped, start with a half day: I will diagnose the issue, and try and fix it within the half day. If it needs more time, I will let you know.
Do you only work in Make?
Make is my primary platform, but I also work with Zapier, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom and others. If Make isn't the right tool for your problem, I'll tell you.
Which Make plan do I need?
It depends on the volume and complexity of your workflows. We'll work out the right plan as part of any project — there's no need to have it figured out before we talk.
